Reed concrete pump in New York

High Rise Construction in New York City with a REED C90S model concrete pump. Vertical Concrete Pumping. 530 feet of line pumping through mostly 5" slickline - 50 horizontal at bottom- 220 feet vertical, then 50 feet horizontal- then 60 plus feet vertical - then 150 horizontal (reducing to a 4" rubber hose for placement). The C90S was achieving approximately 48 cubic yards an hour pumping lightweight concrete (10 inch slump) at that height. Thanks Freddy Almeida for the great video!

Concrete Pump and Volumetric Concrete Mixer Combined!

All concrete pumps need to be fed concrete into their hoppers. This typically happens when a ready-mix concrete truck or a volumetric concrete mixer deliver fresh concrete to the pump. Well, this means two drivers, two vehicles (the truck to tow the truck plus the truck to deliver the concrete).

CemenTech and REED joined forces to develop and introduce the MixerPump, a concrete pump and volumetric concrete mixer combined!

One truck, one driver - brilliant!!! The gear box from the truck runs the hydraulics for BOTH the mixer AND the pump...very smart!

See http://www.reedpumps.com/ for details...good stuff!!!!

Concrete Pump Survey

Concrete Pump Survey

There are many different manufacturers of concrete pumps (REED, Schwing, Putzmeister, etc.), producing many different types of pumps, trailer pumps, shotcrete pumps, line pumps, boom pumps, etc.

What kind of pump do you have? What do you like and dislike about your pump?
